Where Children Grow into World Leaders

When I thought about the kind of school I wanted to create, I kept coming back to one simple observation.

Most children grow up hearing a long list of "do this" and "don't do that." Sit properly. Speak softly. Don't ask too many questions. Don't feel too much. Don't make mistakes.

Over time, many children learn to behave but they slowly forget how to express themselves.

At Shakti World School, we wanted to change that.

This school has been built on the belief that children thrive when they feel safe enough to be themselves. When they are allowed to explore their interests, voice their thoughts, and try things their own way — with guidance, boundaries and care, not fear.

Children are especially vulnerable when it comes to emotional expression. They often feel deeply, but don't always have the words or the confidence to share what they're experiencing. Instead of dismissing these emotions or rushing children to "be fine," we believe in helping them understand what they feel and express it in healthy ways.

Freedom, to us, does not mean a lack of structure. It means creating a secure, guided environment where children are encouraged to speak, create, question and grow — knowing that an adult is listening, supporting and gently guiding them.

At Shakti World School, our role is not to shape children into who we think they should be, but to support them in discovering who they already are — confident, capable and full of potential.
